Mixing T-Rex diet with Baby food

magnus1028 Nov 10, 2003 09:17 PM

Hello All
My Crested Gexs don't seem to like the new T-Rex diet, but I have read it's a pretty good source of nutrients. So now here is my question, Can I just mix the T-Rex diet WITH the baby food and not bother switching over to all T-Rex diet.

Thanks

If you are also feeding insects it is fine to mix the diet with babyfood. If you are looking to feed a non-prey diet exclusively to you crested, then you need to eventually use the diet without babyfood mixed in. What happens when you mix it with babyfood is a dilution of the nutrient ratios. On a non-prey diet, over time this could result in deficiencies in your Rhac.
