As u might know I pogo is taking albon for his coccidia...Usually about 2 hours after taking his dose I been giving him acidophiliz. I also bought worm guard if you remember and was wondering if that did the same thing as acidophiliz as far as restoring the beneficial gut flora? Or does worm guard only remove worms and stimulate apetite? Was wondering if I should give one or the other....Plan on getting some parazap sometime soon!

That's great you've been using the acidophiliz. The meds clean out both good and bad gut flora. After Pogos treatment I would get a second fecal exam to make sure everything is gone. If everything is gone you can use worm guard once a month for 5 days as a powder, as a parasite preventative. No worn guard does not have acidophillus or anything that will help restore good gut flora. You can use them together if you need too. I never had trouble. I use the worm guard in powder form once a month for 5 days straight, and if a dragon is not eating well or seems to be not their selves I try the acidophilz to restore the gut flora. If not being treated I use the acidophliz about once every other week. Since pogo is being treated you can use more frequently.
