Here's a pic of some of my enclosures. The trough-type setups that you see house acanthurus, tristis, and glauerti. I constructed them out of melamine, for melamine's ability to be water repellant, and can withstand exposure to moisture, unlike plywood. My ackies' trough is filled about sixteen inches or so with soil; I am still experimenting with different soils, but the foot or so of soil is to encourage natural diggin/burrowing behavior. They seem to love it. The insides contain plywood stacks, branches, nesting box, and water dish. They have several hide spots- a hot dry spot, hot moist, cool dry, and cool moist.
