Are tree boa's generally not tame-able? or dis-like requent handling?

You may want to look closely at carpet pythons--jungle carpets, Irian Jayan carpets, coastal carpets....and the color morphs of these. They're nippy as babies, but MOST adults calm down quite easily, or you can buy an adult that's already tame. Plus not as many people have them as boas.

Some are some aren't. Overall I find most treeboas and gtp's to be handleable under most circumstances. Some are dog tame, others are nasty and would rather you not even look at them. Most fall somewhere in between. Like any other species really. Shop around and get one that meets your needs. For some it's about personality, for me it's always gonna be about looks.
