Are tree boas and tree pythons generally not tame-able? or dis-like requent handling?

In general, yes. One exception that comes to mind is carpet pythons, which are quite arboreal but also can be tame.

Well, no snake really likes handling, much less frequent handling. But some species and individuals tolerate it better than others. In my personal experience only, the amazon tree boas just can’t put up with big warm humans. I had quite a few emerald tree boas at one time and never really had any problem moving them around, but some I chose to wear gloves when handling. One of them, which I had for twenty years, was a gorgeous so-called amazon basin emerald tree boa that was so tame I could let children hold her.
