Was wanting to know what most of you use for putting in humid hides and also for egg laying and incubation.
I read somewhere that perlite could cause impaction
also read that vermiculite tested to have asbestos

In my humid hides I use moist paper towel.

For incubating eggs I use perlite.

For my egg laying boxes I mostly use peat moss, but if the store runs out, then I will use vermiculite.
