this is Barabas I rescued him today from a very bad home (it made me feel really good that I got to punch the guy as well as take his snake from him)I dropped a medium rat in with him when I got him here and set up in a new tank I would think he would be hungry being that he hasn't eaten in about 6months but he wouldn't touch it also there are some black spots on him which you can see I am thinking they were/are from mites gonna take him to the vet in the morning. all in all he has a very good disposition about him he hasn't tried to bite me or strike at me so thats a good sign. if anyone can tell just by looking at him if there is anything else I need to look for please leave a post.

The poor little guy. Congrats on saving him. I bet it was fun to punch the former owner!
Out of curiousity, was it someone you knew or are you an animal control officer?

well he never clean the tank he kept it in and only used a very thin layer of newspaper for a bedding no hide rock and just a household lightbalb for a heat/light source
