Just out of wonderment where of all of those of you who breed leopard geckos sell them? classifieds? shows? internet? pet store? Also how did those of you that do this get started in your buisness? How many leopard geckos do you have?

Thanks

by buying a 1.2 group of leopard geckos from the IRBA San Diego reptile show that consisted of a male patternless and two normals. That year I bred them and successfully hatched 6 baby geckos and sold them to friends and made $75 from all of them.

The next year (last year) my colony increased with two more normal females that my brother couldn't take care of, and an albino female that did not produce any eggs that year. By the end of the year I produced 22 baby geckos and then sold them to various people and reptile shops and made $310 by the end of the year.

This year I plan to sell my geckos to reptile stores and using the kingsnake classifieds now that I have geckos worth a little bit more. Using kingsnake.com may be your best bet to sell your geckos for relitivly cheap, and considering how many people frequent these classifieds, it may be very well your best bet. Reptile shows (at least the ones here in San Diego) are expensive to vendor here (I think its over $300) and I think if you were to vendor at a reptile show you should be producing a lot of or valuable geckos to at the very least make back what you spent. In my opinion you should check your local reptile stores if they buy from local breeders, and the kingsnake.com classifieds.
