snow honduran (3c phase)

rtdunham Nov 11, 2003 01:56 PM

this is the three-color phase of the snow honduran.

the other two types i've seen so far are the pink-and-white and the yellow-and-white. I've seen one of each of those.

most seem to develop yellow AS THEY AGE and end up pink, yellow and white, with the white diminishing as the yellow spreads. Perhaps this phase will end up being called the pink and yellow, or if some retain their white rings into adulthood there will be four phases. Plus who knows what else is to come.

I think this three-color phase is my favorite, although the yellow-and-white is very rare and very distinctive (it looks like a cal king albino but with PAIRED yellow rings!).
