Question regarding plants...

Raydeohed Nov 11, 2003 02:48 PM

Hey guys,

I wanted to add some plants to my leo's habitat. I was thinking, fake ones, since I use reptile carpet. I saw some good ones at thatpetplace.com which is a website LeoLover talked about in one of the previous posts. It's a pretty good site, and I think I might get some of the plants they have there. I'm just wondering, I've heard they are safe, but has anyone had any trouble with their leo's trying to eat the plastic plants or anything like that? Or do they just see at is a decoration since it doesn't move like food. I guess they could be curious about it too. anyways, let me know what would be the best kind of fake plants to put in with my gecko.

Hey,

I have almost like a "vine" of fake plants that I tucked into the lid of Ron's moist hide for added security and they aren't a problem at all. Actually, she seems to enjoy this quite well and I'd like to put some more plants in there, hopefully some fake cacti too. See ya.

My male likes to climb them like trees and hang out. No problems with mine.
