I find the albino's much more beautiful than the regular coloration. Can anyone post a picture of an adult albino pacman frog? How large do they actually get??
Thanks in advance.
Dimitri

They CAN (emphasis on can) get to almost 7 inches long in the case of large females. More average is 2-4 in males and 4-6 in females. Here is a pic of mine during a cage cleaning.

That's not your frog. I don't get why people lie about stupid things like that....you don't live in Garden grove, callifornia, and that is where this frog is from.http://www.petoftheday.com/archive/2002/October/02.html

That kid (kyle L.) stole the picture of my frog. Don't make wild accusations. I have tons of other pics of him. For pics of him as a baby, go to my site, the Reptizone, listed below. If he posted a pic of an african bullfrog, that is mine as well. And next time, think before you speak. Condemning me (someone who has been around here for years and has some pretty strong credentials) is not someone you need to be accusing of lying, stealing, or anything of that sort.

To help placate you almighty hornfroggy who has knowledge of everything! Same frog, same time. I expect an apology. Remember anyone can post anything and next time don't act so ignorant. And seeing as the frog resides in my bedroom, it sure is curious that he lives in California as well.

Sorry,it looks like it is your frog. It seems you don't practice your preaching though. Your frog is disgusting It's the most over weight specimen I have ever seen.
Maybe get a better handle if you truly think that the frog is disgusting. He's a beaut! And he's taken care of by the best!
You can't even see the frogs front legs, that is wrong. the frog is obese.
Actually that is typical size for an older horned frog weight wise, once they stop growig in length they start growing in girth a bit. Once they are wider than they are long, then they are pretty obese. Plus that is relaxing position, they are a lot bigger when relaxing then when moving around.

Keep in mind if you put a frog on a hard surface it tends to splay out as it does not have traction. Also keep in mind that even right after feeding crickets, the frog can appear very obese. And by the way hornfroggy, who are you to criticize me? You are obviously fairly new (not a bad thing, but puts you in no position to criticize me) and you are fairly ignorant (assuming I was lying since someone posted the same pic). You have a lot to learn so please keep rude comments to yourself. Your post was already a personal attack in the beginning, so I have grounds to have the thread removed and for you to be banned if kingsnake sees fit. Andy

Please,go back to kindergarten. Your childish attitute is really sickening.
Your frog is disgusting. It will probably go blind, and die a young age. You are obviously way,way over feeding it I don't give it more than 2 years more... I did take in consideration it was your frog, and the other person stole the photo, but after I saw the weight I figured you knew enough not to let the frog become that FAT!That was the reason I thought it wasn't the very informed snakeguy's frog, and you stole the photo. My adult that is 5 inches long, and 5 year plus old.
Not that I needed to explain myself, but I already did. Another word against me and I will petition to have this deleted and you banned. Everyone wants you to drop it. You were wrong so you are just trying to focus the attention on someone else so you do not appear as dumb (which by the way, is not working). So leave it at that. And if you would like to physically examine the frog, you are welcome to come by and see it. I assure you it is in good health (he is brumating at the moment). And for your own credibility I would leave this thread as it is as I do not make idle threats and have reported people plenty of times. Have a nice day. Andy

You shouldn't go accusing Andy like that. He's been on this forum so long, he might as well be a moderator. I have gotten much great advice from him, as have many other people on this forum, and he is a stand-up guy. To ask, "Well, I saw that frog on pet of the day.com, but it was someone else, did they steal the photo from you?" would have been a better post in my opinion, than just pointing the finger at him and accusing him.
Cannot we all just get along!?
As for the frog being "overweight," a lot of older Cranwells look that way after a feeding. It isn't really fat, it's the food that just got put into the stomach. If Andy had been feeding a high-fat diet like mice or fish, the frog would probably not even live to be that big! A nice, healthy adult horned frog is a testament to the hands that raised it. Good work, Andy! Benny is pleased...
