Horned Lizard Diet -What's an ant made of?

Jeff Judd Feb 08, 2003 07:24 PM

I would like to know were I can send some ants to determine what they are made of. This would be from a healthy colony and a wide spread species consumed by various species of horned lizards. I have seen it done for crickets and mealworms.

¬ids and what kinds.
vitamins and minerals found in them as well
I am interested in how horned lizards can grow so rapidly from eating this tiny form of life.
