I used to buy ZooMed basking bulbs but I was wasting my $$$. They were $5 - $7 each & they only lasted a couple weeks.

I now use DuraMax "SPOT" bulbs from HomeDepot. They are $3 something each & come in 50 & 65wt. They last very long and are well worth it.

What I'm getting to is,, you don't have to pay extra for a "Reptile" basking bulb. They don't put out UVB anyway, so why spend more for a normal spot bulb?

Hope that helps.
