Trouble with storing frozen mice ...

scarface Nov 11, 2003 09:01 PM

just wondering who else has this problem ? i wanna buy like 10 mice at the same time instead of going every week to the pet store.

How do u guys do it ? do u have a seperate little freezer ? if not, is it ok to store them beside frozen foods ? what methods could you use to safely store frozen mice ?

thanks in advance

Frozen mice are probably safer than any of the various meats you have stored in the freezer. I figure I wouldn't give it to the snakes if I wouldn't eat it (assuming I like mouse) and if I WOULD eat it, then I don't have a problem freezing it with my food.
A nice big gallon sized ziploc bag is a good idea though. Avoid freezer burn!

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?
