Kerry is a major IDIOT!

FastEddie Nov 11, 2003 11:13 PM

He would have to be a pathetic, desperate, and laughable candidate to attempt to portray Bush's "carrier image" as if it was something the Bush would regret. His declaring an end to major combat from that ship that day was a true moment of pride in America, not to mention a major relief. For Kerry to assert that Bush was only looking to use the dramatic footage in his re-election campaign he must have no idea what a colossal JACKASS he is. Kerry can kiss my a$$!

because you possess a very naive political awareness......'major relief' huh? LOL! when was the outcome ever in doubt?.....and fyi, that carrier was delayed arriving in port 48 hrs. just so junior could get his pic snapped on it for the [election] record. that entire fiasco was more reminiscent of 'access hollywood' than access freedom and EVERYONE knew that at the time. except you apparently....... Kerry is not saying anything new, in fact, it's ancient news......and he's right. that's exactly what that was all about.....4 more years. don't be such a marionnette........

Considering that all the Democrats that are running for president voted to go into Iraq, it's funny watching them all now say that they were against it. (Just because they can't possibly compete with Bush unless they take an opposite position.) What a bunch of hypocrites! Changing your position just to try and gain some power. Seems like Lieberman is the only one with a little bit of honesty and honor.

A wise man once said (I'm paraphrasing), "There is no limit to the good that a man can do, if he doesn't care who gets the credit."

We had yet another scandal out here in California. With all the huge budget deficit problems, Gov. Gray Davis ordered that a bridge get completed early. As a result, many of the workers building the bridge are pissed because of all the overtime they are forced to work. (which is costing the state a lot of extra money it doesn't have.) Why is he doing this? He wants a photo taken of HIMSELF once it opens so he has to get it finished before Arnold officially takes office. He doesn't want Arnold getting a photo-op instead. Every chance he gets, he tells us how he is continuing to work for the people until he leaves office. He's been recalled because of the budget problems he and the legislature have caused and he is still finding ways to throw away money before he is gone!

Typical democrat!

And the heavily biased liberal news doesn't seem to even bother mentioning it, but they'll talk endlessly, everyday, about any small problems in Iraq or how much the war is costing us to protect this country.

I must admit though, he looked pretty good riding his motorcycle onto the set of the Tonight Show, with Jay Leno, tonight. He didn't look as good as Bush on the Aircraft carrier, but he looked pretty good.

(I'm sure that his entry onto the stage wasn't meant as a photo-op. to show he is a regular guy or anything!) No democrat would ever do anything that! (Remember how the troops had to be given orders not to cause trouble whenever Clinton visited them because they hated him so much!) Or Dukakis in the tank (man did he look stupid!)

At least Bush was congratulating our troops on a job well done and he looked great doing it--plus the troops were glad he was there. It's funny, but anything that Bush does really well he gets criticized for as just doing it for his reelection. Anything that he does mediocre, he get criticized for because he is an idiot. He really can't win with all the liberal press out there.

Unless something drastically changes, I know at least 5 of my 6 family members are voting for him in 2004!

I think he truly is a man of vision. (even if he doesn't always speak that well) He knows evil when he sees it, and he realizes this war on terror was inevitable. (I may be an athiest, but I know evil when I see it too!) All you have to do is look at Israel to see what it is all about. It was just a matter of time. I'd rather we have someone who will at least try to take care of it now, instead of waiting for technological advances that make the terrorists a lot more dangerous. As time goes on, it will be easier and easier to get nuclear weapons because so many countries will be able to produce them.

Political Photography!! From MacArthur's well orchestrated return to the Phillipines to Nixon's Laugh-in cameos...The art of being in the right place for the right photo/film op is part of the game for any politician.
If Bush's landing was contrived...the timing was not auspicious. He would have done better to wait awhile longer to see the fruits of his assault before claiming the victiory in such an obviously contrived manner.
Not that I fault him for the initiative...the favor of the nation being dependant upon him appearing quickly victorious... We all needed that. And Bush (let us not be blinded by party loyalty), did have the talent as an opportunist,as would any politician in his place to recognise and capitalize on the opportunity.
But I do hold it Foolhardy to undertake the risk of that kind of landing-when it was not necessary...and putting at risk the Commander in Chief of our forces in time of War. Any pilot (military) can tell you that landing on a ship at sea is the most dangerous manuver there is-even in peacetime. Not great judgement exhibited there...For ANY leader. Party politics aside.

Rodney, I think that the athiest is more likely to recognize evil than the believer. Consider the trance-like zombie suicide bombers who think they can kill anyone, as long as it's in the name of allah. How about all the christians, from the pope on down, who have turned their heads from the sickening habit of priests ruining the lives of little boys? Athiests don't have to believe in anything to recognize the festering legacy of religion. The athiest certainly need not feel ashamed that he has no religion. No apologies necessary.

Personally...I would have been more impressed if Bush had announced his victory from inside Saddam's personal mansion!

but then the media would have to start saying that Bush didn't do this for oil, he did it because he wanted a nicer palace to live in!--LOL

Don't goat eyes sound appealing? I'm getting hungry just thinking about them looking back at me! Suddenly, the stuff on fear factor doesn't seem quite so bad.
