It looks to be in the same pot it comes home from the store in. You have to wash the soil and repott to make sure all chemicals are out of the plant, in case they decide to munch on it. We leave our plants in our apartment for a few monthes before we give them to our chams.

I agree. Is the residue on the foliage from your spraying or did it come home that way? Most commercial retailers spray the heck out of their plants with pesticides. I would wash the leaves anyway.

As for too much...I would think that so long as your cham has an area to get to be more in the open (beside her basking) then you can never have too much foliage. I like the table for the scheff - that's what you mentioned in your "shelf" post to me right?

Yes that is the "shelf"i mentioned, yes that is the orginal pot, BUT i pulled it out, got ridd of the old dirt and used new soil, the residue is from spraying and misting, i was it thoroughly, have to goto work now, Dave
