Emory's Rat Snake Care?

I just got a new Emory's rat snake and he is in a twent gallon tank. I have a heat light i got from the pet store and another lamp that provides heat that i turn on during the day, and a heating pad underneath some outdoor carpet. Do you think he has enough heat or needs more. How warm should i keep his tank? Also, how often can i feed him, i want him to get big fast. Thanks,
