Does anyone out there have any experience with this material? My local Petco is using it for their baby dragons, and it looks fairly natural. I will research the reptile carpet more because of the possibility of ingestion; I would just like to be able to provide a natural substrate for my dragon, (when I get one!). From a couple books I’ve read, I’ve heard that dragons like to burrow from time to time; besides, wouldn’t carpet allow the dragon to kind of “tromp around” in his own feces? Sand or something comparable would wick away the moisture of the feces and be pushed down rather than smear into the dragon when he/she walked across it.
I don’t know, I just have memories of my iguana’s poop on the astro-turf; “not pretty”.
