rat rack - almost done!

weiside Nov 12, 2003 01:21 AM

This project was started on Halloween and included many small spurts of building because of school and work. It is almost done. What's left is to reinforce the roof and floor, frame and attach the door, and install the watering system. It's looking pretty good, and I am happy with the design.

with the sides and back boxed in like that..

the build up of amonia from the urine will become strong and stronger and eventually make your rodents sick (unless you clean alot, or have some kinda fan o circulate the air)

id suggest removing at least the back.. give the air a place to go..

just my 2 cents

Yes, I've planned on making vents on the sides just forgot to add that to my list of stuff to do. Do you think 5" hole saw cuts for each tub will be enough ventilation?
