turtlegrl22 Nov 12, 2003 04:39 AM

i have an older (aprox 7-10 years old) male beardie he has been eating fine and gets all his vitimins and calcium uvb everything. but for the past couple weeks he seems to be losing muscle tone trough out his body. he feels well basicly squishy especialy in his tail wich just flops around when i pick him up. now my quetion is, is this something that can happen with old age or is there something seriously wrong with him. please any info will help even if its just so i know what to expect my vet to say.
thanks
cin

Very few of us have a beardie that old so you may be telling us the cause and what your vet says (please do).

I think I'd ask for a blood panel to make sure everything is working properly.
