Hi geckophiles!
I was wondering if N. amyae requires the damp microhabitats that N.levis requires. Also what temp ranges are best for this species?

Hello,
My N. amyae (and N.wheeleri cinctus) definitely prefer a dry hide box. Their thick skin is much more dessication resistent than geckos of the N. levis complex. If the enclosure is kept too wet, amyae will wander, in obvious displeasure, trying to seek a dry spot.
