Kingsnake Problem

I have a banded california kingsnake thats about 2 years old and its about 3ft long. I bought it about 6 weeks ago and I have been feeding it about every 7-10 days.I noticed about a week ago it quit being active alot..it just lays around now and doesnt move alot.Its eyes turned a milky color about 4 days ago and has cleared up now.Is it starting to shed or is there a major problem here?I keep it in a 55 gallon tank warm end around 82-86 degrees and the cool end around 74-78. 2 hide boxes 1 on each end and i use repti-bark.The heating is a undertank heater.Thanks for any help

Yep, it's in shed. Your setup and care sound adequate. The "blue" usually disappears s few days before the skin is actually shed. Should be any day now. Good luck with him.
