King Constipation

aratadude Nov 12, 2003 11:29 AM

I have a full grown California King and it has a bulge just before the tail like something got stuck it can't deficate. It has had this problem a couple weeks and I figured whatever it was would pass but it does not seem to go away. It also does not eat where it has a good appetite before this problem. Is there anything I can do to help it short of going to the vet?

A warm (90 degree) water soak and a bit of a gentle massage might do the trick. Beyond that, you probably do need a vet.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?
