i was wondering if ringneck snakes eat salamanders i went looking for snakes today but i found almost 40 salamanders in a hour or so and a lot of toads but no sing of any kind of snakes. does anybody have any ideas of what to look for or certain areas or times of day to look.

Ringneck Snakes eat worms, salamanders, small frogs, slugs, soft-bodied insects, etc. They are nocturnal and are rarely encountered in the open, if it is hot they go underground till it cools down. They like moist environments.
