I was wondering how many times the male will breed after brumation each cycle.

depend how the male is.
if he is very dominant then he wil breed whole the time and chase the gurls til he fall down
i have one male mellow yellow who only wil bobbed his head chase the gurls and mate oftehnd.
he even not eat much then i see he losing weight after a while.
then for him and the gurlks i put him separeted.
then i see him laying down and finaly come to rest
then he wil start eat again .
but you also have males who r not interested and you can housed them togheter the whole time.
