Joe went to the vet

el_toro Nov 12, 2003 02:09 PM

Well, I took Joe to the vet yesterday. He had a bleeding area in his mouth which just turned out to be an abrasion from banging into the side of the tank.

While I was there, the vet injected fluids and vitamins under the skin. I started him on a little bit of a force feed, too. Poor guy. I hope this gets him back on the right track. He's such a great guy, I don't want to lose him!!

If anyone has any suggestions (or just plain good wishes), I'd love to hear them!

This, by the way, is my new WC I got nearly a month ago who hasn't eaten and has lost a LOT of weight.

I so hope Joe will be ok ..... "thinking of him"

My uro was not eating and looked sad , vet gave him vitamin & calcium injections and I've had to give him injections every other day for parasites and after a week he is now eating and seems to be much better so I hope and am sure your guy will get better soon .
Be strong for your little guy
