Congrats on the babies soon to come.
As for food. They are eating machines!!!! I would say most people raise hatchling bearded dragons on commercial ordered crickets. A good size to order is 1/4". I order them the day the first one hatches. For the first couple days they might not eat, or they might only eat a little. After that they increase their intake pretty quickly. The recent clutch that I just hatched, were eaters from day one! They are only 7-10 days old now and already I have gone through almost 5,000 crickets. Plus they nibble on greens and I feed them zupreem baby bird formula every other day or so as a way to water them and handle them individually (to check them out). I offer juvenile rep cal but they dont even bother with it and when they do, they spit it back out!
You will also want to feed them 3-4 times a day to minimize the chances of toe and tail nips. This can be a big problem with baby beardies. Also housing only 3-4 per ten gallon enclosure helps as well.
I believe others have raised their dragons on silkworms as well, some use newly hatched roaches, others grasshoppers (hard to find commercially in the USA).
Well goodluck! Keep us updated. LindsayMarie
