Black Milk breeding size

pituophisman Nov 12, 2003 02:53 PM

What is the proper breeding size and or age for black milk females. I have 4 1/2 ft female who is 01. I was just wanting to see other peoples opinions on, whether or not to breed her this year or not. I'm thinking I won't.

Hello,
I'd give her another year. All of the breeders I've asked for advice say that black milks should be at least 3-4 years old and 5' long before breeding. I have a pair of '02s, so I'm looking forward to hatching my first clutch sometime in 2006. Definitely not a snake for the impatient.
