This is what our 8ft suri female did to my mom's hand. She went to feed her but she decided her hand looked tastier than the rat. It took a while before she let go. She's long gone now.And this picture is from a few days after the bite.

Tongs or forcepts....anything to get the prey away from you hands and not give the animal a choice of which to wrap on.
The lady that owned him was out of town for a week,while she was gone her mother fed him by hand and wound up with almost the exact same look,only with bigger bite and bigger lascerations considering she pulled away.Took forever for her hand to heal.They put him up for sale and i bought him and have been happy ever since.How long before it completely healed?
