I don't want to speak out of place, but, I was under the impression that pieds were striped already. At least every one I ever saw had orange stripes outlined in black.
Great looking girl!!! Best of luck this season, but it looks like you have all the luck you will need. Again she is gorgous.

You can always get poss. het stripes at great prices.
I got five from Bob Clark this year, and they are growing fast! I plan to produce a bunch of females with them, and then get a stripe to breed to them so that I get some stripes (the same ammount as if I bred the males back to them), prove out the males, and all the normals will now be 100% het. for stripe. We will see. I most likely won't be able to afford it, but it would be nice to have a lot more het females instead of a group of normals from the percentage that were not hets.
I hope my striped ball pythons are as nice as she is!
I notice my poss. het stripes have a distinct jungle look/pattern and bright yellow/white contrast. They are some of the nicest ball pyhons I have seen and make my pastel a little jealous. Has anyone else noticed this as a pattern for het. stripes?
Can you post a pic, perhaps with some more normal ones for contrast?
A while back a guy that worked for Mark Bell posted that the het stripes tended to look different but no one else came out and confirmed this. He said something like that they where "brighter and with some striping".
How are the bellies on your possible hets (any black markings on them or not)?
I have one very normal looking 50% chance het stripe but I did get some interesting offspring from him last year but I chalked the Classic Jungle look of some of them up to incubator problems and not genetics.
Our 100% Hets are breeding NOW!! We would love to see just one of these in 2004. Keep up the great work.
