Leos eating

chamoti4 Nov 12, 2003 07:38 PM

Hi,

I got my geckos last weekend. One is a very good eater, she/he will eat from the tweezer and everything. But the other one will eat one or two from the tweezer but nothing more. I keep mealies in a bowl for them all the time and they are being eaten but I don't know by whom. I haven't seen that one eat for about a day or two. It dosen't seem intrested in tweezer feeding anymore.
How much are baby leos suppose to eat anyway. They are about a couple of weeks old (small things). The one that dosen't eat well has a nice fat tail and the one that eats well has a thinner tail (funny).
One more question, How easily does the leos tail come off. I'm really nervous about it. I don't even want to touch there tails. Am I just crazy or what?
Thanks
Chris

Are you using a UTH? Either way, it's probably okay as long as they grow and don't lose weight if it's just eating slower. Another thing, maybe the weather changing might have something to do with it. Just monitor it and keep us posted
