I use a very LARGE rubbermaid as a laying bin. I just fill one end with plain potting soil (no additives), spray the soil so it is moist and then pack it down enough so that it doesnt cave in on the female laying. I also start a couple laying holes for them.

I made a custom top for the bin so that I could place a heating light and flourescent uvb light on top while the female was digging, laying etc.

I have tried placing soil directly in the dragons cages, piled high in one corner. It didnt work. I also tried 60 quart rubbermaids in the enclosures filled with soil. That too did not work. I have had pretty good luck with the setup I mentioned at the top though. Goodluck! Lindsay
