Your dealing with a half truth. Yes, some stay very small e.g. Kayaudis, Jampeas and Super Dwarfs. Some however will become monster size especially the sulwaesi and makasar locality which will easily break 20' with good feeding. Then there is the middle in my opinion. The middle includes the Bali and Ambon localities which run the gamet in terms of size. They can stay small or get big ive seen ambons as big as 16' and my female ambon at 3 years is 12' so take any Bali or Ambon dwarf claims with a grain of salt. Side note i have thai mainlanders and ive been able to grow the females out to 15' but,its probably all in the induvidual. Would give some more info on Dwarfs but have no exoerience with them Id contact Shaun at Serpentine Dreams

OK, I LOVE THE LOOK OF RETICS BUT DONT WANT THE HUGE SIZE 15 FT. MAYBE MORE ALONG THE LINES OF 10-12FT. AND TO ME THERE IS NOTHING THAT EVEN COMES CLOSE TO THE BEAUTY OF A ALBINO RETIC. I KNOW ID HAVE TO GO WITH A MALE.
Hey Sin city retics,
you said that you had some Thai Mainlander retics? These are the stock of what Fluffy is i think. And I was wondering, I want to get a retic over 20 ft. and you say your thai is only 15'. Is that the biggest it got? How much were you feeding it? Do you recommend any other retics (Except Sulawesi/Makassar) that can get over 20ft. (Malaysian,Sumatran,Tiger, etc.)???
THanks for the help.
Darryl
The problem you have here is that Indonesia as a whole is a darn big place and several hundred if not thousand islands would be considered a part of it. There definetly are smaller retics on some of these islands particularly on the Sundas,(the dwarfs) however other locales such as Sulawesi(super giants) are also in indonesia and are prehapse the largest of all retics. Most of thre retics on the smaller islands have not been described as of yet so who realy knows whats out there. To answer your original question, yes indonesian retics are diffrent, the problem with describing them is that they are also much difrent from each other. Shaun DeBord
