Food Chart

Priest Nov 13, 2003 02:59 PM

Can anyone give me a link to a good food chart? Or just quickly write down what should be given over a week? I have found good lists, but nothing tells me if "this" should be fed 3 times a week while "that" should be fed all 7. Just don't want to give my future beardie (which I am getting soon)too much of something. Thanks :D

WWW.Beautifuldragons.com has a nutritional content page. Take note they have a legend and not all those foods listed should be fed. Green colored writing on that list are the staple foods, and what you should base your daily salads around, interchanging for variety. Main thing is to mix it up and offer variety so it's not the same salad every week. I basically choose two of the ones in green as a weekly base say collards and dandelion, then next week mustards and escarole, and choose two others to add in for variety, or use a mixed spring mix in a bag for variety on the busy weeks . I usually like the veggies that I can grate or chop up to put on top of the greens. Squash, sweet potato, parsnips, once in a while carrots are some of the ones my guys like. They love the colored veggies, and zoomed pellets on top.
