What is the best way to measure the length of a baby burm

1. Let it crawl along a wall, measure it there.
2. Put in a small (but long) tube.
3. Digital methods rather complicated, above 2 are good.
4. Flexible, thin tape measure that curves with snake.

I think Danny may be referring to this up above but somewhere around here is a free download for a snake measuring program. What you do is take a pic of your snake with something of known size. You then open the pic with this measuring program and put dots down the snakes in the pic. You then tell the program what the known measurement is and the program calculates the length of your snake. I've used mine a few times and I like it much more than any other methods I've tried. Good luck, Scott. Hopefully someone will have a link for you to this program.

That's the method I was referring to, but had no idea some software was available (free?) to do it. What's the name of the software, I'd like to get it myself? Thanks.

It has directions for the program as well as a good picture of what I was saying when I mentioned putting dots along the length of the snake. Enjoy, it makes the measuring process easy instead of struggling with a snake that will never sit still when it comes measuring time. Take care, Scott.
