What is an Ackie?

Hey- sorry, I don't know much about monitors but I can't seem to figure out what an Ackie is. Can you give a full or scientific name? Thanks. Brooks

There "scientific" name is Varanus Acanthurus. Everybody jsut calls them Ackies for short.

I've also heard them referred to as dwarf ridgetail monitors.
