supervised visits?

My beardies are about 8 months old and have been seperated for about 4 months. My question is - is it o.k. to let them see each other when giving them baths or just taking them out together? The one time the male has seen the female since the "seperation", he started doing some major head bobbing and then jumped on her. I quickly stopped them and have since thought it would be better if they didn't see each other until mating season. I would like to let them interact occassionaly if it won't stress them out though. Pls advise. Thanks.

If the male was like that already, I would not put them together. Only takes a few seconds for him to grab her so I would just keep them seperated. Chris
