Bad BP sheds

derekls Nov 13, 2003 06:48 PM

I have a pair of BP's.

They have both shedded twice for me, and neither time was it in one peice, it was really a "bad" shed.

Im keeping them in a 10 gal tank, with paper towel as substrate, a small crock water bowl, And two hides. I even soaked them for about an hour after there eyes got cloudly, but still a "baD" shed.

Any suggestions??????

Derek

mist them, put in an extra water dish, lay a damp towel over a portion of the lid (assuming it is screened). in other words make sure humidity and temps are good. could also be stress from keeping 2 snakes in the same cage. a 10 gal tank isn't really adequate for 2 snakes anyway.

The pyhtons are in separate!!!!!! 10 gal tanks.

i do not house any of my animals in the same tank.......

Separate them. What are your temps and humidity readings? How big/old are they?
