but my brother jsut found it in my driveway and i figured since no one else is postin pics i should put it up, anyone got any idea what it is?? ive found salamanders in my backyard before but none this big, usually in the sumemr if u pick up a log you'll find about 5. hes prety fat so im guesing hes about ready to brumate, im surprised hes even out cause its about 6 degrees out and the past few days its been below 0....................

Well, it looks like a nice spotted salamander too me. But I could be wrong. it’s been awhile since I thought about salamanders. I sure do love them... It is all their fault that I own so many herps today.

coming out in winter & spring to breed ! So this lady or gentleman, had HEARTS on the mind, instead of just poka dots on the back LMAO. They can also get to be approx 7 inches, Nice size, nice Pic, I enjoyed seeing your catch of the day ! Eve
