what to get and what not to get

i have narrowed it down to 2 lizards for my 20

1 emerald swift

2 jeweled curly tailed lizard

from the information that i have gathered these are generaly beginner lizards i would like to know wich is easier which is cheaper and how many can be comfortably maitained in a 20 with each other

The first is a montane animal with very special needs and everything but a beginenr animal. They are cheap and survive half a year or a year in a standard tank. IMHO thats not a reson to say they are good for beginners.
The second species is SIGNIFICANTLY easier to keep.

I agree the emerald swifts are specialized lizards that not even the most experienced hobbyists have wholly figured out.I reccomend the curly tails as they are a good begginners lizard and can survive under circumstances that would kill other lizards.There is a back issue of reptiles that has a article on curly tails.
