Question about Trans Pecos Rats...

SlipKorn Nov 13, 2003 10:56 PM

I recently got a male blonde trans pecos rat that is about 5 feet. I was wondering if they are generally less active than other rats(Yellows, Balcks, Glades and so on.) I've had him about a week and he is normal other than just getting over a recent respiratory infection. I haven't tried to feed yet because of the infection and he is going through the last clear days of his shed. I was planning on feeding this coming wednesday. Basically i'm asking is if they are less active or is it because of the shed?

The infection was very minor and did not require a vet.

to the inactivity. They are nocturnal as well, I would assume yours would be more active at night.
