how to treat flu on indian star?

my 6" indian star got flu a few days ago.this is the first and he never gets any contact with other species and i rarely touch him.i keep him with 3 more female star which i see are all clear.got him and the other star about 6 month ago,this is the first problem.he's still healty though,eating alot and very active.

what should i do?does rising the tempreture do the trick?reptile vet is hard to find here but not imposible.does Sera flu medicine for tortoise work?thanks.

Tortoises don't get the flu (influenza), which is caused by a virus. If your star has "flu-like" symptoms, it is most likely a respiratory infection and will need antibiotics. If you were referring to TheraFlu in your post (I wasn't sure), for heaven's sake don't give it human meds--get it to a herp vet instead.

Raising the temps a little wouldn't hurt. You need to isolate him, too, or you run the risk of infecting all your stars.

I'm sure someone here with more experience will have better advice for you. I just wanted to make sure you didn't give it human medication.

it's not human medicine.i'm still sane it's Sera.they are a german company that makes food and other stuff for pets.it's not very well know in the US.

does rising the tempreture and regular sun exposure actualy works?my friend did have some result doing just that.
