When should I hibernate my taiwan?

I was justwondering the best time of year to start hibernating. Thanks.

Here in New York, I began to brumated my Taiwans from Mid November to March 1st. However, there were two seasons that I just left them at room temperature (65ish) (so there was a bit of a drop in temp) and they bred and produced fertile eggs just fine.
