Is it Hog Breeding season right now? The reason I ask is because I saw my Hog do an Incredible Hulk transformation
right before my eyes while he was on my arm.

Two days ago I had my yearling male hog out, on my arm
while I was watching TV. Everything was fine, he is always very
calm & docile. He has never even hissed since I got him last
year at Daytona. Well, after about half an hour I looked down
to see how he was doing and to my surprise I saw what looked
like one of those oriental dragons, it was like the head of a
shar-pei on the body of a boa. He was totally freaked out.
I don't know what happened, maybe he was about to do a
'system purge' and I interrupted him?? Or maybe the coffee
table had the scent of my big female Hog and his hormones
went off, I don't know. I heard that males hogs get antsy
around breeding time. Any Hog owners out there know what
to make of this?

It is definitly breeding season for them around here. My male is perfectly fine during courting/breeding, but every snake is different. Do you have a cat or dog that may have set him off? Just a guess. Good luck. Craig Kade

Nope, he was fine yesterday. It's the first time I see a boa
change disposition like that. It was drastic. His little head
was all blown up. I'd hate for one of my larger boas to change
like that while I'm holding them. There could be blood shed...
