mealworms: need info

alajim Nov 14, 2003 11:59 AM

I am looking to raise some mealworms for fishing, I need to find out what growth hormone is used to keep them from pulpating causing them to grow larger. I am currently raising some now but they don't get as big as the ones I buy at my bait shop.
any help will be greatly appreaciated.
thanks - Jimmy S.

you could try using Superworms instead. they are naturally larger than mealworms. wriggle just as much.
