Elliot, my 7' Sumatran Water Monitor died yesterday morning after being in my care for over 10 years. I don't know if it was my fault or nature, but I did care for him the best I knew, and do miss that monster.
Even tho he can't be replaced, I am keeping a look out for another, as they are excelent pets. I do hope to find one that comes close to the personality Elliot had.

My Condolences to you - its rough. Do you know about www.cybersalvator.com? They know alot about salvator, and may know of some baby water who needs a good home?

I think we've spoken on subjects before... I do know of John A. we spoke about sulphers, as like him, I too had purchased one that was mistaken as a sumatran, but then sold her once knowlegde of sulphers became more common. I don't want to get into raising a baby as Elliot's setup is designed and made to maintain a large animal and a baby would be lost, but I am going to keep a search for an adult, that would benefit from this enclosure...
