Ball pythons setups'

pisces842001 Nov 14, 2003 09:14 PM

Hi,

I am thinking about making a nicer enclosure for my ball python. I go to DeVry and don't have much time to sit around and think about what I would like to do with it soooooo I was wondering if anyone had pictures of their enclosures so I could get some idea's. Thanks a bunch everyone.

Chris

This is the cage of my male BP. I made the rear wall myself. If you want to know how I did it, there's a page about it on my website.

Here is a pic of my 5x2x2 wooden cage I built:

That took a while to build, and a lot of money. Here is my new precision cage from precisioncaging.com, it cost 156 total, with shipping. Great cage.

That's a really nice setup. Is it hard to clean?

Not really hard to clean at all.

I do daily spot checks for feces or urates. If there are any I just pick them uup. If they've smeared on any deco i take it out and clean. If the carpet is smeared I change out the piece with a clean one.

Otherwise, once a week I change out the carpet and clean and disinfect the dirty carpet and the water dish.

Once a month I take out the plants and clean and disinfect. Sometimes e/o month. I also remove everything and clean and disinfect the tank.

This schedule sometime changes depending on shed, etc.
