Building a cage?

AzLunchbox Nov 14, 2003 09:22 PM

Hey everyone, i Have a 9 and 1/4 inch beardie that i have right now in a 20 gallon long tank.....and i know i'm gonna need a bigger cage for when he starts getting adult sized.......so i was thinking it might be cheaper and better for me to make my own......
the only thing is i'm not fully 100% sure on everything i need to make sure to do with it.....i have a dresser that i want to build it ontop of.......so does anyone have any tips or suggestions or things not to do that they can share with me?

Thanks in advance for any help you guys provide.

The cage needs to be 4x2x2.Because bearded dragons need 8 cubic feet of space.

Hmmm ive been told by jsut about everyone and their mother that an adult bearded dragon can survive quite fine in a 40 gallon tank.

So 4x2x2 is quite a stretch there aint it? I would go with that is what is recomended but i definetly wouldnt say that is what is *needed*
