cage improvements

skippy Nov 14, 2003 09:24 PM

I've drasticly improved Igor's cage. I added a window on the side and put a new door on it (he won't get out of this one). I also painted it all black.

Right now I'm the middle of constructing a new container for his swimming area. I've been using a cat litter box (clean, of course) but this one's gonna be way better. It's shaped like a paint tray, but it'll be clear, so it won't look unnatural like the litter box does.

I also bought a fogger recently. It makes the cage look pretty neat when I turn it on. Igor seems to like it too. But he's more excited that I got a big stick for the cage. I got it from the side of the road. Don't worry, it's nice and clean. I put it in diagonaly from the corner furthest from the light to the corner closest to the light.

this post is too long, so that's all for now.

Pic is a little out of focus, but I get a VERY good impression from it

Where did you get a clear paint tray?
I have a red one, and wish I had something that looks better (but I do not want to mess with a good thing, so M leaving it as is)

Hope you had a nice weekend

none of my pictures are very good because they're all taken using a cell phone camera.

It's not actually a paint tray, it's something I made that has the shape of a paint tray. It's deeper than a paint tray. It actually doesn't look very good. I was hoping that the dirt under it would show through, but all you can see is glare and condensation. I may try to salvage it somehow, or I may go back to the littebox.
