blue beauty hatchling

RandyWhittington Nov 15, 2003 01:26 AM

This little girl hatched out this year as blue in color as it usually takes several months for them to change to. This picture doesn't actually do her true color justice. I'm going to hold her back to see how her colors change down the road.

Also very contrasty three part pattern. Haven't seen one so uniform in the neck region before

I have seen them breed at 18 months but I would suggest they not be breed before 2.5 years of age.
I would want females to be about 6ft before breeding. Males could be a little shorter with no problem. I could not give you a body weight but if they are healthy and feeding well at these lengths they should be fine. Later, Randy

Some females could probably breed safely at around 5.5 ft if they have really good body weight. RW
